Election Day

Date: Tuesday, November 4, 2025
Polls are open from: 6:00 AM to 9:00 PM

Early Voting

Dates: Saturday, October 25 – Sunday, November 2, 2025
Times and locations: Will be posted on the Albany County Board of Elections website

Early Mail Ballots

Any registered voter may apply for an early mail ballot — no reason needed.
Apply online: absenteeballot.elections.ny.gov
Request deadline by mail, email, fax, or online: October 20, 2025
Request in person at the Board of Elections: By November 3, 2025
Return by mail: Must be postmarked by November 4, 2025
Drop off in person: Must be delivered to any early voting site, poll site, or the Board of Elections by 9:00 PM on November 4

OR Let Jennifer personally deliver your early mail ballot:

1. Designate Jennifer as your agent on your Early Mail Ballot application. On the form, in the section that asks for the name of the person authorized to pick up your ballot, write: Jennifer Whalen.

2. Email Jennifer at JenniferWhalenforColonie@gmail.com to let her know you’ve designated her as your agent.

3. Jennifer will set up a convenient time to personally deliver your ballot to your home.

4. Once you’ve filled out your ballot, Jennifer will return it directly to the Board of Elections before Election Day to ensure your vote is counted.
